Intermodal handling and dedicated barge handling The DRF series includes general and dedicated intermodal handling options. The DRF reachstacker is in use at several terminals e.g. train/road, road/river as well as transit barge/ship sea terminals. With the possibility to go from the 6m wheel base to 7.5, operators can get the best possible solution for capacity needs. The use of reachstackers is a very economical way of meeting the variety of demands on these kinds of terminals, handling a variety of cargo. The reachstacker can be equipped for negative lifts without loosing in capacity. The same options and extra equipment can be added as on standard top lift versions. |
